Since re-opening, The College Arms has established itself in the heart of the Hertford Heath providing a quality local and leading gastro pub for the village.

Formerly the Jolly Pindar, and prior to that, the East India College Arms (with links to the then East India Company College, now Haileybury College). We have breathed life back into this lovely village pub and our locals have welcomed the changes by showing their support and custom.

We are situated at the north end of London Road in Hertford Heath, backing onto woodland making it an ideal 'halfway house' on a Sunday walk. Our Sunday Roasts are going down a treat with roast beef from 'Foxholes Farm' just one mile away, being a favourite with the regulars. We have decent wines by the glass, well kept real ales, honest pub grub, a log burning stove, comfy leather armchairs and we're dog friendly so it's no wonder that we've become a firm favourite within the village community and beyond.

The Garden Room is a large events space, overlooking the garden towards the rear of the College Arms. It has recently been fully-refurbished and decorated, ideal for daytime or evening events. The Garden Room can be hired for private parties with full catering for up to 40 people seated or 60 standing ideal for Christenings, Weddings, Anniversaries and Birthday parties.
